Team Losi JRXS
The Numan setup demands for a spool in the front ! All the drive out of the corner you'll ever want. The car is pretty dialed with that setup. I made some alternations to it to decrease the turn-in push on low grip tracks.
Well, after the succes I had with this car in the club and regional races the past few weeks, I'm off to the nationals.
Confidence is pretty high thanks to my switch from the TC4 to the JRX and the stunning results I had since.
Wish me luck guys.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

The spool is a must!!! Once you drive it with a spool you won't go back to a diff. It makes the car come off the corners like a bullet.

I switched to a spool over a year go and have not looked back. The thing that I found was that I had to change my driving 'style' and drive more agressively - you will be quicker as you do not 'diff-out'. I run the Numan setup and the JRXS was awesome from the outset with that setup - don't be afraid to throw it into the corners and power out the other side.

I am also experimenting with Losi brown grease in the rear diff to make it a bit slower.
question on battery
I'm watching JRXS thread for quite a while, as well as rear motor chassis. But, is the current front motor JRXS and future rear motor JRXS able to use batt pack similar to what showed in photo?
Your pack may be ok but if you are usin the Corally plugs you may want to set your packs up like the one in my pic. If that pic does not help you let me know and I will get you another one that shows how the connectors sit low between the cells. I just thing it will be too hard the way it is set up in your pic to attach the wires since you will be close the the belt and top deck.
Wo thanks lots Yeti. I think now I'm more ready for rear motor JRXS...
Putting a JRX-S together that I got in a trade. How do I tell the difference from the over drive pulley and regular if they have been died? Thanks.

The standard pulley has 42 teeth. The over drive pulley which we use normally in the spool is 41 teeth. Other than just the slight smaller diameter, the 41 tooth pulley has black slash marks on one side of it. When I died mine the black mark did not go away so you may be in luck. Other wise start counting teeth!
