I am running a 128/39 on my Reedy Quad and it flys as well. I can't remember off hand where I was gearing my C2 at. I ran against a couple of guys with Checkpoint Moneys and they seemed no faster then my Reedy.

You and I did not have good meeting at Barham did we no grip, dont think the car liked the bumpy track either, not sure if the short wish bones are the prob. I was there 2 weeks before that meeting but went no quicker on the day. Paul Upton was only 2 seconds quicker than me with his new JRX-S even though he borrowed the front end of my car coz of the JR links etc.

He went to his Friday night club and TQ'd but was having difficulty diaing out the grip roll was on 15lb rear nd 25lb fronts but was well happy with the car and was using sorex 24's on rug

Now that all the outdoor racing is over, I got a chance to head back to SoCal today to do some testing with a 1 way for the first time. Got the car real good with it, rigged up a center one way, and got the car dialed. This is my first time driving the rear motor car with a one way, and ended up TQing and winning tonight with it. Very consistant as the other drivers were hitting 9.0 fast lap, and I could group 4 or 5 of them together, and got a few 8.8 and .9's.

I'm having trouble with my car in the first few laps though, seems like the tires just dont want to come in, and I am at least a second a lap off of what I can do when they start to work, even ended up spinning out on the 3'rd lap of the main. I've been playing with sauce time, tire warmer time, cleaning the tires, and nothing seems to be working for me, cant figure it out.. So if anyone has suggestions on what else I can try out, I'd be glad to head to the track on a practice day and test away

Hi guys,
I was just wondering do the xxx-s rear hub carriers fit on the jrx-s? I hit the wall very very lightly and i broke the rear arm, rear hub carrier and bent the hingepin. I am very dissapointed with the strenght of the car but then again those parts could have just been weak. i guess thats just racing.

Thanks

Also do either the front or rear hingpins from the xxx-s fit on the JRX-S. I am hoping to use these as temporary parts till the JRX-S ones arrive.

Thanks

I think you were just unlucky, that’s all... to bend a hinge pin, the axle end must have grabbed on to something. The Losi hinge pins are normally very strong.

Yes it was vice versa, what is the advantage of using TC3/4 rear hubs anyway,

I havent run TC4 hubs, but TC3 hubs using the A hole and 7 or 8 camberlink on the shock tower gives a lot of rear traction.
