I tried to run the support posts last night because I went to a rubber tire set-up, and wound up taking them back off to give me more sidebite.

Try changing 41T front pulley to 42T. If that will take too much time, move rear camber link from 6A to 6B.

Default Motor Mount/Bulkhead Locating pin

Hi all

I am assembling the JrXs for the first time and I noticed the Locating pin on top of the Motor Mount is too large for the Front Top Plate to be installed. The same problem exists for the Top Plate rear's locating pin which is also on the Motor Mount. Any ideas on how to get this located properly without forcing the plates onto the Motor Mount pins?

Thanks

I guess most of you saw that easton was running a car based on the off road version(batt in front, motor in the rear) at the nats warm up race, the results sounded pretty good, gonna be intresting to watch the rest of factory guys now to see if they all switch.......

Just hope Losi comes out with a conversion kit if they do end up changing the car layout around.

On Friday at our Region 12 Regionals, Matt Francis had me redrill the holes in my JRX-S's top plate to make it so it would go on with virtually no pressure. Really helped align the chassis.

Wasn't paying a lot of attention; but, I believe it was 3/32".

Also did a minor amount of reaming too.

Bill

The 3/32" bit worked fine. I also had to sand the edge of the top plate where I added CA. I had to go a hair more to make it smooth. I also opened the bulkhead side hole also and that worked fien too.

Can't wait to hit the carpet on Wed night

See ya

Thanks

hey guys, I got a good question for you. I changed my setup to a rubber tire set up from foams, and a friend said to run a total of 8 shims under the front end, 2 at each corner. I also changed the front pulley from 42 to a 41, and I ran a set of homemade BK Brackets because pooky's haven't shown up yet. The pushed like a loaded front train all night, LOL. Now, if I take the front shims out, would that make it worse?, I'm also going to check and make sure that the pulley is a 41, because another friend gave that to me a while back, and even though it has the black marks on the side, I don't know if I should trust it. Thanks for any ifo you might have on this.
