Hobby town in San Jose has almost all of the parts for the car. Even the bottom chassis.

Go see Brian he has all the stuff you need.

Yes I plan on moving it Ray. Just ran out of time so I stuck it where it was easiest to finish up tonight. Thanks. You still do any karting? We just bought a new Birel for my son to run Yamaha Junior super can road course. Sweet ride. R.W.

Rick_ I have a ride for Mid-Ohio. Comer Controlled motor-my kart-but my Bell Vortex is no longer snell legal-so I would have to buy another $600 helmet to do this one race. Tempting as a controlled kart is easy 100mph at Mid-Ohio! Yahooo!!

Good luck to your son this summer. Let me know if you do the Mid-Ohio race and I'll coach your son-I know that track very well.

Ahh. Ive read the opposite about the 415.
interesting!
Have spare parts been distributed to the LHS' yet?
If the topdeck were not pinned, the lack of countersunk screws would indeed lead to tweaking issues. Since there's pins everywhere........

Looking good Rick. Check out www.jrxs.com under set up's. I got one out there and it's been really good. I am running it in modified and I put it on a friends car and he is running stock. Use the kit pistons with 60-40 oil....

Shoot me an e-mail and let me know how things are going with it.

Thank you. By the way, how is the car handle on asphalt with rubber tyres? I always like the idea of everything in the middle(the heavy components.)

Default I got a chance to look at the new Losi shocks....

and all I can say is wow! They are smooth and I like the detail Losi has put into them. I love perfection in every little detail.

Default Asphalt Set-Up

Been following this thread for two weeks now while waiting for my JRXS. Well it finally arrived and based upon what I've been reading not a bit too soon. You guy's have been great, I learned a lot about what to expect when building the car and what not to do, so with the delay, I actually got a head start.

What i need some help with is a forgiving sert-up for asphalt. I say forgiving because I'm somewhat of a senior (63) and don't have the reaction response that you young dudes do.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

These were probably my favorite part of the build. Heck, how often do you say that?

It was amazing to get to that part where you expect there to be air trapped inside, but with these shocks....nothing. Just smooth operation.

And when i got the rebound uneven in a couple, it didn't require a complete re-do of the whole fill-bleed-close procedure.

Truely amazing units Losi came up with.
