I love the Corally style connectors, I've used them in all my cars, but I'm not too optimistic about pulling off their use in this new car.

Things just seem too tight in there. I race outside mostly, so if I can use them I will.

I guess it's just a lack of imagination if we cannot find a suitable place for those connectors.

Has anyone seen a picture from Brian's spur gear adapter that has a view from other side of the car than this one picture from Novak Race which was posted earlier?

Come to think of it, those corally connectors won't work the way they are intended to. Since the hole in the chassis is nearly as wide as the battery pack, the connectors won't be able to pass through that hole.

But someone mentioned laying the connector horizontaly between the cells at each end of the battery pack. That would work, just need a regular battery bar to jump from the connector to the cell terminal. Kinda complex, but maybe ideal.

As you can see connectors are flat under the cells, and barely touch the bar......

The only other thing i would do is add a little insulation under each plug. Just to help prevent shorting.
