What Is The Most Quiet Air Compressor You Know?
#2
How much are you willing to spend?
There are a number of manufacturers of silent air compressors, but they usually are expensive.
Badger, Paache, SilentAir...just about any air brush company makes a model.
You can also make your own much cheaper and can do it with just a days worth of elbow grease.
Here's an example

In that case you might want to just buy one although I think making a custom compressor would be fun, not to mention save you lots of money you could use to buy more paint or an extra brush.

Hi There Luck!
Try the Thayer & Chandler compressor, around $230.00 or so, that's what I use when I try to paint. I have the Iwata hp-bc airbrush, badger 150 and the aztec 470. I prefer the Iwata over the others.

Thank you Skip. I decided to go with Super Silentair 20-A. $400
My neighbor is not happy with Cyclone II that I used, too lound and made vibration.
My new 20-A should be here next week.
I also have Iwata HP-CH and Badger 150.
Iwata is the best for me so far.
Thank you

That's a super sweet unit! 1/5 hp with more than enough psi and rated at less than 20db!! Now that's quiet! They start calling them silent if they are under 40db ... This one will be just a whisper.
Good choice. I was going to suggest the IWata powerjet pro studio series with dual lines and regulators but honestly I think you made the better choice. I hope to get one one day soon! getting tired of having to go get my C02 tank exchanged when it runs out. It usually runs out at 1am and they aren't open till 8am
