Honestly I think for a 90 foot straight a 6 might be too much motor. There aren't a lot of short tracks like that that can support that much power. (SoCal being one exception) I'd stick with the 8, maybe the 7 and the gearing you've got looks like a very good starting point. I've found the V2 you can gear up a tooth or so on larger tracks but on a smaller track like yours, because they may not have the massive rip that some of the other motors do out of the corners, I'd stay down to get the most torque possible. You've got a good starting point and it's all feel from there when you're on the track.

From the Seattle area Peter Robinson and Travis Schreven are going, not sure about anyone else. Last time I talked with Eddie he said he wont be able to make it out this time, he has been pretty busy lately. If you are going and need anything your best bet would be talking with Peter.

I just spoke with Orion about the new element V2....
I guess it is just a quick fix for the time being....seems they are literally putting the optional stock endbell adaptation kits on the current element...
So unfortunately, this means it will NOT be available OEM......

We in the uk had the v2 element/dynasty v2 endbell motors for over a year now
i didn`t like them myself, preferred the laydown brushed way

what is the difference between the original element V2 (with the green endbell, fixed timing i take it) and this so called new one with the grey endbell?

Makes me wonder how the V2 stock adaptation kits are selling.....seems like a good way to get rid of some stock and give the customers something they want....
