Hi Guys, An update for you, you were correct the answer is in the gearing. Colin ran a Brood last night and geared it in the 8's and it was very good. Looks like we have the problem licked
Many thanks for the all the helpfull comments I shall be trying my Brood next week with the revised gearing and hopefully should be ok.

Good news Eddie (you new i was wrong anyway)
Used the motor with purple+/ red - it was lovely then put your purple/purple on then it changed
Were i would run a monster on red/purple combo around the 9.44 mark, the br00d motor did`nt like that gearing, so me thinking that hard springs lots of torque, i geared yours around 8.9 & hey presto, she was dancing (roughly 1-2 teeth more on the pinion)
so eddie i have no problems now, or should i say we

Cool...glad things worked out.

Let me know when you get your shipment.....you will like the arms. You got some of the first that were balanced at my new settings on my balancer, which is 20-1, while most other companies that use the Heins(which is most of them) use 10-1. It's a more precise balancing and take much longer, but the motors are SMOOTH.

It looks like I will also be offering some ROCKET ship 19t arms here shortly....the arms are about 1 month or less out, but OH MY will they be nuts.

I may have to partake in one or two of those. I need to try Epic based 19 turn motors again. I've been running the Reedy ones so long. Every time I go to a big race with handout 19's it's always the reedy motor and I get an extra motor or two for the race so I end up set for a while on 19 turns. Are most of the other team guys running Epics or Reedys?

Eddie, I ran the new V2 motor yesterday back to back with the Kr arm you wound up for me in the two mag can. Both of them are amazing. Huge top end and very efficiant. On the V2 I'm gettiing 2 runs on the comm and 4 on the sprint brushes. The Kr, believe it or not, I think I've figured out the timing and gearing on them as well as how to drive them. I'm cutting every run still but able to re-use 766's for a second run with no power loss. I was burning up the comm and brushes befor in 4 minutes before I switched to the 2 mag can.
