From the outside it's a bit tricky to see, but there is an additional small circuit baord with smaller awg leads going to it. This is the temp sensing device and it connects to the fan. You can kind of see it throug the top of the N-Power.

The unit with the fan controller (extra little board) in it will only turn the fan on if the power supply gets hot.

Oh and another thing, before steve was down, he was known as "Bigwald" due to him turnmarshalling for Dirt. It should be known, dirty has upgraded him and has other lackies to wait on him.

Btw, I already answered that tree falling down-type question... and yes, as long as the tree doesn't reside in a vaccum, it will make a "noise" when it falls... I'm sure it would make some vibrations (what sound is really made up of) even if it were in a vaccuum with no medium for the sound to travel through... it would just not go anywhere... it would probably just revererate through the tree itself and the ground...
