Unfortunately yeah, kinda need to unless you set a TQ by a lap in the first run and are pretty confident you cant go any faster, and nobody else can either..

Thats the other thing that kills me about outdoors, when I got home from the Reedy/Nationals, and after the practice for those races, I had 46 sets of RP tires barely used that were pretty worthless..
