HPI BELT DRIVEN AWD
How reliable is this system also how often do you replace the belt i know every instance is a bit different but i would like to gather some basic information before buying the HPI sprint 2 drift sport.

On a clean surface like carpet or asphalt that has been thoroughly cleaned and prepped, the belts will probably be fine for a good long time.
Otherwise you really need to chop out a slot in the bottom chassis below the rear diff pulley and also remove some of the material at the back that covers the diff to prevent pebbles and other debris from getting stuck in there rubbing on the rear belt and diff casing.

I ran mine a few times and blew the back belt out of it. You need to open the back belt guards to let out the pebbles and dirt so they don't destroy the belts.

Thanks for the help sounds like i may go with a shaft driven AWD car
