I have read the the orion and savox servos are simular or the same. I have a few orion servos VDS-1009 with stripped gears. My LHS does not carry the gear set and $50 sounds a little high for replacement. The Savox gears for the simular servo are around $15 for the sc-1251mg. Are the gear sets interchangeable? and the cases?

For $50 for a gear set I can get a new savox for about $65...

theres another thread asking the same question, there was a guy on there that said he did it and they fit.

Thanks I stumbled across that thread. They are a direct replacement $15 vs $50.. The cases are interchangble too.
