This decribes one of the problems I had at the Vic's and at the last club day at Moorebank.

You go out and do the warm up and come into the pits and you just can't stop the car idling up. Richen it up the smallest amount and the car just won't pull.

I ran the final at Moorebank last weekend and won but it was running very hot and would really struggle to run five minutes on a tank, while others made six minutes.

I came home tested the tank and the tank lid may as well not have been there.

yeah, at summernats i could only manage about 4 minutes 45 per tank before runnin out of gas. and yeah the engine idles up like crazy wen you pull it into the pits. at summernats i brang it in twice in my final to richen it slighty and the engine was stilll overheating.

Take the tank out and block off the fuel outlet to the carb. Put a spare lenght of fuel line on the pressure fitting in the lid.

Submerge the tank in some water and blow through the pressure line.

My guess is you won't have to try too hard to make some lovely bubbles come out from under the lid.

It looks like only one end has an elongated mounting hole?? I haven't had any problems with my tank at all and i've been running it now for about 8 litres. I also haven't had any drama's with the stock exhaust mount.

Both ends are elongated, less in the rear though.

Hey Marcos I am not going to the NATS. I think you might've mistaken me for the OFNA Jeffrey Lin (who I happen to know as well). He drives the CD3 and is quite a bit faster than me.

A Serpent racer says he's got an RRR, but it's not his ?

Good excuse I think

And as I've stated in an earlier post, I don't run an RRR, but I am running Kyosho
