Get some small springs to place between the brake shoes at the top and bottom mounts. This will keep the pads from rubbings on the disc and you won't need to have anything to pull the brake arm back.
Don't put the handle on unless you are going to use an open body, it makes for a neater look.
Drill a small hole in the chassis below the fuel tank overflow and connect a piece of fuel line to the overflow and into the drilled hole.

The thing I found most difficult is the wiring. I trimmed the steering servo mount to allow the wires for the steering servo and transponder (I don't use a switch) to run behind the receiver. If you use a very small receiver, things will fit easier.
