wouldnt it be

first/second
pinion: 16/21
spur: 61/56

I have changed to the 22/56 second 5.09 second gear but first gear is stock. My tracks backstraight is about 50 meters.

Gearing would depend heavily on what tire diameters you use. Smaller tire diameter could live with a taller 2nd gearing etc.

The 22/56 2nd gear combo works out great for a 50m backstraight with 57mm tires. Well 59mm rear and 57mm front.

If you're using a split to get 1:1 front to rear overdrive, the back tire diameter counts. Not the front. So in your case that would be 59 mm.

Yes initial d I am running smaller tires hence the need for taller second gear. It is all about how the car performs and I found a sweet spot (on my car) with this gearing and 59mm tires.

racing4evo: It is good to see that we came out with the same ratios on a similar sized track. I am also running 59 rears
also what are your impressions of this car? I love mine and am so glad I own 3r!

How about 1st gear

Is there any way to don't run split, or you have to

My local track also has 50m straight

So Walter, does this mean you are getting the RRR?

You can set the car up without overdrive by using the optional 24T pully in front which in included in the kit.

I geared my 1st up slightly by using the 60T spur instead.

About my new car, my priority is wait for the G4
But it is taking toooo looong
I'm saving money, so if the G4 doesn't show before I get money for the 3R, I will get the 3R

My friend and I drove the car for about 30 minutes on a high bite track. Out of the box, we were both surprised by the amount of steering the car has. We did notice a slight on-power push and made some minor changes to the suspension and had it pretty much dialed out. I admit though, my FW-05R would dominate the V-one RRR on a track that good. The real test of it's performance is on a loose track which I have yet to do. This is where the FW-05R fails miserably. You either have it understeering like crazy or oversteering everywhere. There is not a wide tuning window with the FW-05R. I think the new suspension on the RRR will fair much better. I'm happy with the car thus far.

The car came geared with 59/16 and 56/22. I thought the car could use a little bit more torque so I just put the stock 61 spur back on and I'll see how that works out next time.

The new G4 Evo?

My friend Dino has one and it's very very light. See pictures in this thread.

Customs can't check every package, so some get through without being taxed - not sure if the % getting through is in our or their favour, though
