Default What would cause wheels be able to shake

What would cause there to be play in my wheels when mounted to the car? I can rock them side-to-side. Is this normal?

Your answer makes sense too, could be either or depending on what type of wheel wobble he is talking about.

I have a Losi 8T 1.0 Tekno converted and just took it out for a run on the street after finally getting everything together.

When in reverse, the front tires wobble back and forth. Not a big deal but is there something to check/tighten or replace? Had a used DS1013 servo that I threw in which seems ok, not the strongest (180oz/inch) but it seems to do the job.

Why are you using reverse? I have never seen a Losi go backwards.

While checking all of the other things posted, you might want to look at your tire balance as well. Truggy tires do need to be balanced more depending on the brand, how you store them, how old they are (# of runs), etc.

It might be the Shake of death, How old is the 1013 ? Brass gear's and weak top cases have a tendency to have the shakes after a while.

The question should be does it do the same thing going FORWARD?
Am I reading this wrong? "When in reverse"?

If it the tires shook back and forth going forward, I probably would've said that.

Going in reverse is when it happens, you know, backwards? Thats the opposite of forward.
