Default EZ Up Pit Tent - Which One to Get??

After 4 years of racing every weekend without a pit EZ Up Tent I am going to buy one. I have always worked off the tailgate of my truck (which has a topper), so I am also on the look out for a pit table.

Which tents are you guys using? Do you like it? Why? Has it lasted? What size? Where did you get it? Can you put it up by yourself? Please post links if you have them.

Thanks

10X10 seems to be the norm for size,

After that, it's all on how much you want to spend. Straight leg or slant leg? Most everyone I know that uses an E-Z-Up (or simular style), uses the straight leg ones. Much easier to put up a bunch close together for more pit area if you have guys you usually pit with.

I've been usuing the First-Up ones from Wal Mart. Not too expensive and have some walls you can put up that are fairly cheap. The big draw back is that they aren't built super tuff and if in a high wind area, can get beat up pretty quick. More so if you have all the walls on. I've had it happen a couple of times.

I have twisted many cheap tents like the ez shade versions and then I bought one online at Costco.com it was on the pricy side $250 to your door but it came with sides and it is built to last. So far over a year and just as good as new. The bag it came with isn't quite as good but I like the tent. btw my buddy has the same tent and his is still straight too.

Frank,

You didn't mention the little burn holes in the top. LOL. Yours is good for sure. Better than the one I use, but I have 4. LOL.

I saw that when we went down south last weekend. I wonder where those came from?

Not this guy,

tough Cary did say where he thought they came from. I'd rather play with your car than E-Z-Up. LOL

Default tables

I bought a couple of the 5' folding tables from wal-mart last year and they are holding up great. They are like $35-$40.

Out of everything you can spill on the tables... Nitro, Gasoline, shock oils, engine cleaner... It's the freakin Associated Blue Threadlocker that will eat the plastic table top! Sorry for being off topic.

I have found that a 8x8 is the best if you are going to be putting it up by your self, anything bigger is a pain . but if you have 2 people 10x10 are or 12x12 are good.
I find if you look after the end of summer you can find better deals on the bigger ones at the cost of a small one most of the time.

10 X 10 is the way to go for sure. If you don't want to spend a bunch...go to Walmart. They have a First Up brand for like $88. Been using mine for @ 8 months now....works well and is pretty sturdy. My Last one was a Quick Shade brand from Dick's sporting goods that I got for @ $99 or so....that lasted me 10 years!

10x10 STRAIGHT LEG

YOU HAVE TO GET STRAIGHT LEG.

As long as you strap it down good you should be fine.
