Why? Because of space restrictions. In order to make the chassis narrower, and use double bellcranks, the battery system must be done this way. There just is no space to use the TC6 system. Personally, I prefer this method thought. Our system will allow you to adjust the battery cradle to fit slightly wider or narrower batteries by sliding the battery braces in or out.

Until you don't hold our chassis in your hands you won't understand how narrow it is. It is only 82mm wide, the TC6 is 96.

Yup, saw it. With the new steering there is hardly no space left.

Just one more question about the battery position: The original chassis offered two positions forward or backward. How is the position on your chassis in comparison to that?

The battery is about 2mm further back than the furthest back position. It is similar to the 417, but not quite as far back. Basically, it is about as far forward as it can be with the dual bellcranks. The car has tons of steering and tons of traction.

Yes, it will include the aluminum double bellcranks, the battery holders, servo mount, stainless steel hardware and a longer steering tie rod.

Price should be about 120-130.

Thanks!

No, we still have plenty in stock. We got a lot of them made

We should have pre-orders for the chassis hopefully by tonight. We will be giving a free spring set to everyone who pre-orders one. Turns out, the factory is telling me they will be done in about 15 days. That should make them ready to ship from our store in approximately 3 weeks!!!
