Remove the shaft assy, loosen the set screws in the blades, gently tap the ends down on your workbench, this should give you a mil, or two shorter assy, the carbon shaft does fit nice and snug in the aluminum blades.

you're telling me it fits snug, I put the carbon shaft in one of the alloy ends when I was building the kit, then went to remove it to put some super glue on the flat spot for the grub screw sit on, couldn't get the shaft out. It hasn't moved a fraction since, it's in there for life

you can file of some of the ridge on the carbon shaft to make the shaft move farther forward...if need be

Cool, I'll give it a shot. Are the shaft ends supposed to be snug in the bevel gears, or are they supposed to float?

12-cell holes chassis??

Dave: Do any Japan companies think of producing a lower chassis with 12-cell holes, similar to XRay EVO2?
So Cuda users can choose to put the battery on either side.
Is it good??

Then the motor wouldn't have it big hole and so would have to sit higher, which means a different motor mount, and there would have to be different holes in the chassis for the motor mount screws too, looks like a kinda big job.
