Default Who uses ABS in thier cars?

Hey guys,

I'm just curious as to how many of you use the ABS funtion in your radio.

Have you had servo failures due to this? If so, what type of servo... analog, digital, high speed, high torque, coreless motor, etc... ?

Thanks!

I do but I'm not sure if my HS-525 servo is up to the task, i.e. I would like to have higher speed of pulsing but servo's response speed is limited. Anyway, I'm not blaming the servo!
Since I don't use front-one way, I had to use ABS function to reduce wheel lock-ups and increase steering response under braking.

The throttle servo, HS-525, is almost 8 years old. It went through 5 different cars and even went underwater...

There's an ABS feature on my CRX but to be honest I've never got around to setting it up. Do you have any tips on how to use it?
Thanks

ABS? What is it? What is Brake anyway? What does the brake do? Does the ABS serve any purpose?

Why we don't use ABS because it let servo die fast. As I know EP guys use ABS but GP guys don't like it. If the servo won't die so easy under ABS,I may want to use it.

Remember this.........." BRAKE just slow you down..."
And I remembered a movie that I watched some times ago....a guy want to improve his driving skill and get faster lap time on motor cycle.........so his instructor cut the brake line off his bike, and told me...." If you want to be fast.........driving without brake will be fast..."

P.S. Do that on your own risk............

That was a movie, not real life.

I played with ABS in my 8th and 1/10th scale cars and since I like braking hard into corners I turned it off to keep from killing battery or my servo(its digital). Besides the ABS doesn't really happen fast enough to be true ABS in my opinon, plus its braking through differentials or spools not at the wheels themselves. I would play with it sometimes if my brakes were causing a 180 but i could usually solve that with less epa or chassis setup.
