Unhappy weird problem

Hi
Tonight I decided to go at the advanced settings on my Cirrus esc.
I just messed about a while but thought that as I hit the stick to go the car sort of "stuttered" b4 it would go flat out.
so I decided to put it back to standard settings, but I noticed that as it was accelerating it was sort of like "misfiring" like as if it was cutting out and going but not actually stopping.
then when it would reach what should be top speed it sounded kind of like a "rev limiter" on a real car
If you can follow my meaning.
can anyone point to any idea what might be the cause ? it was going fine last night but I dont see how I could have done this to it.
In the manual it suggests to check all wiring and check for new brushes in motor> but they seemed fine ladt night, would they go just like that ??
BTW
It is a Mission carbon I have with a trinity stock motor.
another guy suggested that it may be a faulty "shottky" thing,
HELP.

Hi m8
yea. I tried re-setting it back to standard setings to no joy
It may be just a coincidence that this happened at the same time as i am not sure if it only came about after playing with the advanced mode
cheers for the reply
