HELP FAST PLEASE!!! 1/8th Nitro Buggy ????'s
Ok....I have been sitting here scratching my head for 3 hours trying to figure this out. I have a OFNA Team Driver that races at my track and he supports the Hyper 9. My Dad is sponsoring me and told me to buy any 1/8th buggy i want with money not a option. I've been looking at the Team Durango DNX408 but if i do this then my buddy won't be able to help me as much...plus he always gives me parts for my Hyper 10SC. I am soooooo confused and don't know what to do. please give me your input on this. btw...This guy is Jeremey Kortz's team mate and traveled with him to the IFMAR worlds in Thailand.

I would go with the car that is most popular at your track. But for the money a losi 2.0 is hard to pass up very durable and and if you need a set up its on the losi website. www.tlracing.com

that's a great spot to be in, if money is no prob then getting free parts doesn't matter much either right? You should get what you want

DNX408 hands down. all the local fast guys at my track have picked one up and they perform great! i wish i could afford one

I like my dnx and looks like there will be several more at my local track soon. I always go with what I want to drive. Every car has adjustments and any descent driver can see what a car is doing and make adjustments. The dnx is a solid car and it's all hopped up out of the box. But drive what you want to.

go with what your buddy is running, you cant put a price on all the information, knowlege, or help that you will receive from your friend and hanging out with friends and having a good time is what racing is all about not being confused and frustrated. there will always be a newer car comming down the pike and just because it cost more or it is the hottest new thing doesnt necesarily mean that it will make you a better driver just my two cents worth

Buy something YOU can drive fast and relatively easy to get parts for. Dont listen to what everybody else says to buy simply because they DONT DRIVE LIKE YOU. Each car has some unique differences but again ITS THE INDIAN NOT THE ARROWS.

I would go with what your friend is running, he's already sponsored, which is a wealth of value you cant beat.
set up tips, parts, support. how many other drivers are running the Durango. I'm not beating up on it, it's a NICE car, but whats the part support at your local hobby shop, how many other drivers at the track are running one. it sucks to have a simple part break ruin your day because no one has it. just things to consider, good luck with what ever you decide on, and have a blast.

I love my Durango's but I would have to go with what your buddy is driving. His knowledge could be priceless.
