LRP SXX StockSpec V2 ESC set ups
Please keep this thread purely for set ups for pan and tc cars please. The following set ups are from Andy griffith the dual 2011 uk champion in 1/12th stock and open mod.
Stock 1s 10.5 1/12th pancar. X12 10.5 1S rotor.
0,4,11,0 rollout of 41.5mm
Stock 1s 10.5 1/12th pancar x12 10.5 normal rotor
0,4,5,0 rollout of 48mm.
Looking for 13.5 and mod setups in 1/12th pan cars.

You guys have a setup/gearing for a D3 for 13.5 1/12th?

I need to update this after last nights run. Car was very, very good.
Car CRC GenXL 1S Lipoly
Motor X-12 13.5 0000 1S rotor Temp 165 deg F
Speedo LRP SXX SS 1,5,8,0
Rollout 2.05 inches (51mm?)
Comments: seems as fast and driveable as the 10x2 I used to run. The RIP was there. Lap times fell off .6 seconds in the last minute. Could tune that a little better.

I tried to go back to the 12.5 rotor last wed and didn't like it near as well as when using the 1S rotor. Motor temp now up to 195 deg F as opposed to 160 Deg F with the 1S rotor. Top speed was slower and the RIP was not there. Speedo set at 1,5,8,0 for both motor combinations. 51MM or 2.03 inches was the rollout for both.

Time to update this entry. Adjusted the boost to setting 6. Increased rollout to 2.5 inches. Car was very, very fast and only dropped off .4 seconds from fast lap to last lap. Here is the rundown:
1/12 scale 1S lipoly, 13.5t X-12 motor, 2.5 inch rollout
Motor at 4 dot timing, 1S 12.25 rotor, temp 155 deg F.
Speedo at 1,5,6,0

set up with duo 3 10.5
Used this in my WGT car 0.10.12.0 rollout of 72mm very good and cool motor.
