Please keep this thread purely for set ups for pan and tc cars please. The following set ups are from Andy griffith the dual 2011 uk champion in 1/12th stock and open mod.

Stock 1s 10.5 1/12th pancar. X12 10.5 1S rotor.

0,4,11,0 rollout of 41.5mm

Stock 1s 10.5 1/12th pancar x12 10.5 normal rotor

0,4,5,0 rollout of 48mm.

Looking for 13.5 and mod setups in 1/12th pan cars.

My first run was at 1,4,6,0 & 2.35 in rollout. Track is green and temp was 135 F. Ran out of rear tire @ 6 miutes. We will see what happens as the track improves.

I didn't change anything as I had a major right front rebuild. Lap times improved as the night went on. Needed more rip so will change feel to 5 next time out. Rollout might go up as well. Tellan might have the right stuff.

I have been using this combo and loving it!!

Geared at 5.8 - 6 and follow setup suggestion in the speedo manual, It is very quick and oober smooth and loads of brakes

If running ion3 or duo3 dont run anything but 0 degree timing on motor or you will smoke the motor stick with 5.0 fdr in tc with 0,10,6,2 that seemed to work great with lower motor temps around 130

I need to update this after last nights run. Car was very, very good.

Car CRC GenXL 1S Lipoly

Motor X-12 13.5 0000 1S rotor Temp 165 deg F

Speedo LRP SXX SS 1,5,8,0

Rollout 2.05 inches (51mm?)

Comments: seems as fast and driveable as the 10x2 I used to run. The RIP was there. Lap times fell off .6 seconds in the last minute. Could tune that a little better.

I tried to go back to the 12.5 rotor last wed and didn't like it near as well as when using the 1S rotor. Motor temp now up to 195 deg F as opposed to 160 Deg F with the 1S rotor. Top speed was slower and the RIP was not there. Speedo set at 1,5,8,0 for both motor combinations. 51MM or 2.03 inches was the rollout for both.

Time to update this entry. Adjusted the boost to setting 6. Increased rollout to 2.5 inches. Car was very, very fast and only dropped off .4 seconds from fast lap to last lap. Here is the rundown:

1/12 scale 1S lipoly, 13.5t X-12 motor, 2.5 inch rollout

Motor at 4 dot timing, 1S 12.25 rotor, temp 155 deg F.

Speedo at 1,5,6,0

Any of you guys been running boosted with 17.5?

Looking for a good base setup for 1/12th pan car, boosted x12 17.5, track is just under 100ft.

Used this in my WGT car 0.10.12.0 rollout of 72mm very good and cool motor.
