To the guys using the FT a-arm mounts..
Are you able to use the mounts without shims? I tried installing my rear ones last night and the arms are too close to the chassis. I'm about to order the shim kit.

What is the diameter/measurement of the TC4's axles?
I bought some wheels that have an inner circle where the nut fits and my normal 10/32 driver doesn't fit in it. Thus I can't get the standard size locknuts to bite. I'd like to salvage this set of wheels/tires.
When I bought the car (used) the guy had some nuts on there that were smaller diameter outside. Obviously, the inner diameter was still correct.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Can someone point me to the correct locknuts that might work?

No clue about the correct thread diameter of the axles or nut diameter... Not all wheels will allow you to use the AE wheel wrench or driver. I sometimes use a needle nose plier .....

These are the nuts that hold the shocks on the shocktower...

I was talking to a local racer and he re-threaded his stub axles so he could use metric wheel nuts. Although I like the idea about re-threading the metric wheels nuts (would be cheaper if you screwed it up). Only down side would be if you lost one on the track - would need to keep a few spares.

I got some of those nylon locknuts. They are tall enough that my wrench can grip the top of them and since the entire locknut is nylon, I'm hoping they'll stay on.
Crispy, I remember having One AE wheel wrench that I machined down the outer circumference a bit so it could tighten down certain wheels that did not have good clearance...
