For better side to side transition I prefer stiffer springs or raising the roll Center only through the camber link(maybe that's what you did)...
I also had rear traction issues if I ran more than One degree rear camber. If the Car works now, leave it as is. How wide is the Car F&R????

Not sure as it's at home but with the 6mm offset VTA rear tires minimizing rear width is key for rear traction.

Raising camber links is good. But I wanted to test other situations just to see what would happen

I've also played around with a lot of the same settings on my TC4 as jdeadman in the VTA class. I've also got a set of Losi hex adapters (made for the XXX-S/TC3/TC4) that are different widths. The narrow ones come in handy if you are running the HPI 65/66 Mustang bodies (which are around 200mm in the rear). You can narrow up the rear which keeps the VTA tires from rubbing the rear fenders

Different hexes are a nice tuning option since there is no way to change the width (track) at the a-arms like you can on a TC5/6. Bottom line though is that the TC4 is a very adjustable car and quite capable of podium finishes in VTA.

I reckon you mean you lowered the inner camber link ballcup. I lowered mine too to two AE spacers , and no shims under the arm mounts(except the rear/front with stock plastic mount).... The Car seem planted if I put three degree front camber and One degree rear camber, but not so much when I lower the front camber too much, then the rear wants to come around the front. It's a balancing act for sure, but definitely no traction roll with touring Tires....

Identify these arms...

I just picked up a used TC4 - it came with a bag of spares, including these arms. The only reference I have is what is already on the car and what was already on my first TC4 (also bought used), and these are different. I'm trying to find out if these are even for a TC4 - can someone help?

Wouldn't we be like 150 grams overweight minimum?

Oh and I will drop in the correct motor and tires and run mine in anything. Use my backup TC4 for USGT, why not 17.5?

The top ones are TC3 V1 rear arms, V2 have 2 shock mount holes.
The bottom ones are TC3 RALLY 200mm rear arms.

Yes. Well, my son is running a TC4. I am running a TC6.1 World's Car. But there are quite a few TC4s in my club running with the 17.5 class. Some of these guys have no problems keeping up with the rest of us that have the newer cars. Personally, I have to spend more money to make up for my lack of skills!

The tc4 can make the minimum weight or lower if you use the same electronics as everybody else and a lighter lipo pack (230grams or less)....

Tearing down this "new to me" TC4 to see what all it needs, and match the setup on it to my current car. After finding that those spare arms are actually from a TC3, I'm starting to wonder about the car. I don't even know what the differences are (something in the steering system?)...
Anyway, I've found another difference that might not be a big deal - look at this:

My existing car on the left, the "new" one for my son on the right. The steering knuckles are different. I looked at the exploded view of the car, and that part number looks like the ones on my car. What are those on the one on the right?

Already see that I've got to order quite a few parts - lots of stripped screws, hidden broken things, etc...

Looks like another tc3 part... That's why I only get rollers for parts...
