The play I am talking about is the hole in the outer hinge pin of the front a arms. If you look right beside the small retaining screw into the whole in the arm for the hinge pin, you can see the pin itself moving up and down, not side to side. There fore the whole castor block, etc moves as this does. I could actually here the chattering and squeeking of my car in the corners over everyone else, BUT the car was still fast, so I kept grinning the whole time. However it is an issue I will try to address before the next race, whether I try different arms or pins, as you can't shim the inside of a whole, lol.

Sounds like your hinge pins are from the TC3 instead of the TC4. The TC4 hinge pins are supposed to be bigger

Are you sure the pins are bigger? Tony said that the c-hubs from a TC3 would fit the TC4 that wouldnt be possable if the pins were different dia.

i meant to use motor shims for an area where smaller shims are used....as far as the number provided for asc shims...not sure of their size, but if its the shims that come with the kit, then those are to big, im only talkin about maybe .010" of shimming needed...

but, thats not gonna work, cuz he has a different problem...

and, why did u sell ur car losi? didnt like it that much?

This came straight off the Associated website

"The inner arm hinge pins are now larger-diameter, 40% stronger, and are captured in the arm mounts by pivot balls to provide consistently free, non-binding movement"

It does say the inner arm hinge pins so maybe Brandon used the outer pin by mistake.

Are the outter pins bigger as well tho? If they are the c hubs wont work from one to the other.

The ***inner*** arm hinge pins

inner is important. The cars I saw had smaller outer pins if I remember right.

The quote said the inner hinge pins are 40% larger so it sounds like the outer pins are the still the same size so the old blocks should work

The pins he is having the slop in is the outter pin not the inner. Maybe someone made a mistake and made the holes in the new hubs to match the new inner pin size.

The tc3 and tc4 arms dont interchange. Different hing pin size. The tc4 is quite a bit bigger, 40% bigger I guess. Speaking of arms does anyone know where to get a set of front arms for the tc4? Everyone seems to be sold out or on backorder.

Default The front input shaft...

wobbles about 1mm. Is this how the new diff cases come or is this a shimming issue?
