what would a shorter wheelbase do for the car?

and just to make sure, the number on the rear hingepin is the degrees that that particular mount gives it in toe right?

thanks

o and what is the point of switching the triangle, circle or square arm mounts with the x one, ive seen it in some race setups??

thanks

shorter wheelbase generally gives the car more steering... but is as everything else affected by the rest of the setup...

the rear toe-blocks do have the # of degrees printed on them x-2.5 meaning 2.5* rear toe-in

switching the square with the circle changes the toe... the set width of the hinge pin locations are different on the circle and the square... i.e. square+x-3.0= 3.0* rear toe-in... but circle+x-3.0=~1.5* rear toe-in (i may be wrong here on the actual value, never actually tried this before on my cars)

Sorry, was supposed to put a photo into that post but forgot. The chassis I am getting is the BMI TC4, so kinda like a Factory Team.

F. Alonso: Check the Associated website at http://www.rc10.com for setups and manuals.

Here is the link for the TC4 & FTTC4 manuals: http://www.rc10.com/shusting/Catalog...hub_onroad.htm

Default Setting Ride Height

I know this maybe a dumb question but I not figure out how to do this.

So how do you set the Ride height of my TC4?

just turn the dials on the shocks, they adjust the ride height

Thanks, I thought that mite the case, but it would also ajust the load on the shock...

My car is currently at 9mm, I think this is hight, correct? Shouldn't be around 6mm front and 5mm in the rear? I race on rubber outside... no carpet, no foam...

9 sounds a little bit high to me, but somewhere around 5 mm, like you said sounds good, its a decent general starting point

How would you guys rate the FT TC4 vs. T2 or FK05 or JRXS

Need some opinions before shopping.
