1)weight the PAL one is lighter by 1~2grams
2)does not need separate T-nut to build the diff
3)the PAL diff can be shimmedmore than the IRS diff for better gear mesh
4)it comes with very strong teflon blades that are larger in size compared to the corraly ones
5)2 colors Black and Blue

i reckon by putting lightened steel ones on mine i must of put on atleast 25 grams onto my car....
you say they can be shimmed more....do they come with shims? i need to pick my self up a shim kit from AE but do they come with some?
last thing, any idea on price (in USD?)

that looks pretty cool
where did you get yours from Dave?
on the other hand, i ran my tc4 tonight (well last night ) and i broke something i would of never imagined of breaking
i was in practise and this n00b put his car down on the straight ready to set off (you just don't do that do you) and as you do you cain it down the straight and i saw his car at the last minute and i got the side of his car trying to dodgey it...pushing all my wheel into my car.....i thought i had totalled the front end but it turned out the sus block had come off (screw been pulled out) and the steering rack split straight in half straight down the middle where that V shape thing is....strange isn't it.
so me and someone else there tried to make the most of it and glued it back together...held up for 3 mins of the 2nd heat until i broke a rear hub carrier and in the other heat the steering rack gave way
has anyone else experienced the steering rack splitting straight down the middle? or am i just a strange english man that can only ever do these ever so weird things i think that 3racing alum steering rack will come in handy after all
enough of the jibberish and off to bed i go (hey its 4am nearly )

Where can I get one of those? And what size thrust bearings does it use? Or does it use all the stock TC4 plastic diff hardware?

Hey Dave,
You think it's possible they PAL will sell those white blades seperatly? If so, I would imagine that they would fit on the normal steel outdrives, correct?
I'm also wondering the price...
