Got to check out the car today, gotta say it looks pretty impressive, no huge changes over the TC3 which is the smartest thing they could have done...

If you guys go to competitionx.com and check out the manual, it shows how the input bearing deal has been changed. Also shows how the complicated shimming of the toe, kickup, anti dive, and pro dive is done. Hopefully it wont be too bad.

Shimming under the suspension blocks is no different than say the pro4. Its a simple design that works, not complicated at all.

I think the new spur mount was based off an aluminum one trinity had. I have one on my TC3, which allows me to use three screws for the spur, and not just two. Glad to see that they took note of it.

Overall, i'm impressed with changes that AE has made, they've improved on everything i disliked about the TC3....

Reggie- Barry ran it a little bit today in practice at So Cal...I am sure he will be bringing it to TFB. I would be there, too, if I could. Good luck!

I saw Barry run it at So-cal saturday too. He didnt run it very much though. I couldnt decide from that if he liked the set up or not because he wasnt driving like i normally see him drive. I didnt ask him though.

Default Impressions

Hi! I had a chance to see this car first hand. Tony P. of associated was kind enough to let me hold it and inspect this awesome car. My impressions was they basically made the TC3 even better and kept what the tc3 was all about. I am a big Tamiya fan and kudos to the the TB EVO 4 but TC3 is still the car to beat and I am glad associated did not go to far off from the original. They did what it needed to have and it will be the car that every manufacturer have to go by again.

Tony P. let me take a close look at his car yesterday at the Mazda Cup. The car looked good. It looked fast on the track too.
