Just don't get rear ended with the Modena. Even though it is a well handling body, it is very prone to having a corner of the body getting tucked into the wheel well.

Yeh, just looking at mine now, it does look a bit as if it would be prone to that sort of problem. I'll see how it goes anyway.

yeah. i noticed that in the tamiya races here... a slight "love tap" from behind will get the modena's rear bumper snagging onto the rear tires

My picks: Skyline and NSX. I was hitting the same fast laps with both. The NSX was a hair more agressive. The Modena has a ton more midcorner rotation than the NSX or Skyline and it can probably hit a faster lap time. Regardless, I can't drive consistent with the modena.

2002 Calsonic Skyline

2003 Calsonic Skyline

2004 Calsonic Z

2003 Raybrig NSX

or any other Tamiya bodyshell for GT-1 can be suggested... but please be serious... no suggestions of using bodies such as a ford focus or a humvee...

I say the Calsonic Z...........I'm a Nissan fan and the Skyline is always chosen. Besides the Z is better looking.

Usually the light bodyset that comes in a bag will suck back up on hit from behind. Depending on the chassis you might have some extra trimming to do with that bodyset.

The bodyset that comes in the box (50896) I have never had that problem with.

Im using a corvette body this year i reckon it looks the best/ provides enough downforce.

One question if we can use it next year will all you guys use the new subaru liberty bodyshell. I think it will be the shell of choice if its allowed next year
