Rick,
It was designed to put the ball stud on top of the chassis cross brace and cut the ball cups down. Some guys like to try different shock locations and angles so we added the holes to the chassis to give more tuning options. It's up to you and your driving style.

Oh got my first 1/12th TQ tonight !!

Cheers for all the set-up help guys it really paid off

The car is now dialled and "on the pace" so i'm a happy man.

Biggest and only real difference set-up wise from your suggestion's was to use damper tubes on the rear which i really liked.

Merciless,
Congrats!! Some guys like the feel of the tubes, On higher bite tracks they are inconsistant here. If you like that feel on your track, running shocks instead of the tubes would be better. They worked good here on low bite tracks.

Thanks Rick!!
I fought radio problems all weekend and changed radios the last qualifier. Had 1 run to get use to it, but it really made a difference. The main was great, we battled 8 minutes and I got lucky to sneak out a win on the last turn passing Dayger and Rice when they were fighting it out. We all ended up with 41 8:01 and were seperated by a few tenths of a second!!. The BMI ran great all weekend. If anyone wants the winning set up let me know, I'll post it.
