hey man this is the first time someone has produced anything other than a picture of a CGM to give us a sneak peak at the TC4. Obviously you are quite bitter, but notice how there's less flaming on this thread due to the substantial amount of SUBSTANCE provided by the thread originator.

Agreed. There is no point wasting money doing moulds unless you are pretty sure that is a final version. Plus, as said by others, Cliff Lett would not pose for a pic unless AE has endorsed the design. That is a new car alright.

True...I don't get why the did what they did to the motor side of the chassis

Basically looks like a new chassis, a rear tower up front and NTC3 steering/upper front bumper brace. I don't understand why they didn't make a new lower front bumper

We can't all be talented car designer/engineers like you TBK.

This is what AE likes to do. Come out with a great first design, then refine and make it better while keeping to the same theme. Look at the 12L series and the GT, the basic design has been around forever, yet they keep making it better.

I like the new car. From the picture and the rczone article it sounds like they fixed all of the little problems with the TC3 that people have to do the home brew fixes to.

Can't wait to see how it does at the world's against losi's rumored new car...

it certainly makes business sense to have the car released before the christmas/year end holidays period.

The best news I have seen in along time. Updating the most winning TC in existance this is huge!!! I really hope the quality will surpass the TC3. I mean all the changes will be great I am sure but I think the most important update for associated would be better quality and build at least should be as good as the Pro4 or even better as good as the Xray, but I highly doubt associated will produce that good of a job

$64 million question: When will it be available?
$128 million question: Will it be released as a Factory Team kit or do we have to wait while AE goes through the other versions before we get all of the goodies?
$256 million question: Did AE free up the drive train? Biggest improvement needed, IMO.

Is it me, or did the link to the article that showed the pic of Lett and T was over part of the words of the article? Either someone screwed up when posting the pic in the article or it was an amateur that did it. So I don't hold much credit on it so far until the official AE press release.

didn't AE worked with Thunder Tiger and Trinity with Team-Magic??..strange
I believe AE doesn't want to release a high luxury/sexy TC (which is the trend right now), but the most competitive chassis for the best price...so perhaps there won't be any FT TC4 first (Craig Drescher used to drive a stock TC3 Racer...) it's just another philosophy
