Default AE truggy hexes on buggy?

So i thought i bought 17mm buggy hexes for my rc8 but in fact they are the truggy hexes, they are the same but the truggy ones stick out about 1/4 inch more, anyone with expeirence with the truggy and buggy hexes please let me know if it is bad, it is all i got to run right now and they fit great and looks great cant even tell the difference, but would like to know if it is bad for my buggy or if it is not race legal. etc.

Thanks DiZzY

The car will become too wide which will most likely mess up the handling of the car and it wont be racelegal either.

Oh ok, so for our practice track it should be fine then? Is it because it would be to wide that its not race legal?

maybe not legal in roar races, should not be a problem at the local level,
i have them as well. havewnt tried them yet. but would probably help if the track is really rough, ruts.

it should be fine at club race, i dont see why someone would complai. bigger races yes, its illegal, and it may cause people to complain... it will probably take a little steering away but it will also make it more stable and more planted, you may like it.
