what do you guys think of the brush factory 2 im going to order one and was wondering what you guys think of it.

The quality of the original brush factory is very poor. If they do the same for their new unit then you better spend your money elsewhere.

Trinity's machining is terrible. I have a B3 tranny brace that is covered in chatter marks, if Raul has been doing this for 25 years like the ad says he sure hasnt been doing a very good job for those 25 years.

Raul WAS doing that for 24 years till they got him a new CNC machine.

He can't get to understand how to program the darn thing

I have a brush cutter serrator from Trinity and I had to file some parts in order to fit. That pretty much put an end to any other buys I could make to Trinity...

Integy makes a nice cutter, serrator that is much smaller and cheaper than the trinity thing.

i have a racetech brush serrator and the stock bit just puts shallow serrations. are there aftermarket bits that put deeper serrations, similar to the already serrated brushes that you can buy? thanks for any info

If its as bad and expensive as the first ones then don't bother. The idea of the tool is great but the serator doesn't go deep enough and the cutter fits together really loose so its tough to make fine adjustments to it. The belts on the bottom (O rings) were so fat they rubbed on the side and the motor couldn't turn it. I had to go out and find some narrower ones. All this for the low low price of $50 to $70 bucks depending on where you get it. Out of all the RC stuff I bought this is the thing I regret the most. The new one may be better but if I were you I would look closely at it before buying one.

Marvi, you should be able to buy the "bit" from promatch, they make an excellent cutter.

The ProMatch serrator looks sweet. Best of all, it seems they adopted the K-I-S-S method of designing. It looks like that 4025 bit can produce some deep factory serrations

The Integy serrator puts fine serration back on brushes, increase power and best of all the cutting bit look like they'll last forever.

so what do you guys do when the serrations are gone?do you reserrate them then skim the comm.

if the brushes are still long enough, i just skim the comm and reseratte the brushes. but for my race motors, i replace the brushes after cutting and keep them to be installed in my practice motors.

Does anyone know if the promatch serator will do all 3 types of brushes.

It just does the standard laydown and standup, not the new P94 brushes.

I bet they will come out with one soon though.
