Default Ultra Sonic Cleaners, using for bearings?

Hey guys, just thought i would ask this in here as more ppl use the onroad forum.

Has anyone tried/had success with Ultrasonic cleaners to clean R/C bearings?? I have been looking at a few of the ones designed for cleaning jewellery and they look suitable.

Anyways guys let me know what ya think.

Glenn:

Hi,

I use a Ultra Sonic cleaner on my bearings. we have them at work and they work great.
If you are looking to buy on for rings, etc they work ok for outdoors but for indoors on carpet with foam tires you'll need something more powerfull. I think Harbor Frieght has one for around 30 bucks. it looks like it should work.

Thanks
