Default Do you use 1/8 Buggy car stand

I am thinking to get one. Is it necessary? Do you use 1/8 Buggy car stand?

I would get one... They definitely make wrenching on your kit a little easier...

Dont laugh but I use a 4x4 screwed to a 2x6 base, simple and basically free and it works. Seen some other home built designs too, a little inginuity goes a long way.

I mostly use my starter box too. I have one stationary stand and two spinning stands and i find myself using the starter box or the stationary stand most of the time.

I have a spinning stand, but only use it wrenching away from the track and its more conveinent. Use starter box at the track.

I use one of those white plastic first aid boxes from home depot. The car or truck spins on it for wrenching and you have your first aid supplys at the track. Works great

I was using that Ofna spinning plastic stand, getting ready for my heat, threw the glow plug ignitor on after preheating, pressed down, and was confused why my buggy wouldn't start...oh, duh, cause it's not a starter box

I use the Duratrax spinning stand to work on my 8th scale vehicles and it works good.
