Default F104 pro set up

Anybody got a good set up for the 104 on carpet?

You might have better luck with your question if you searched throught the "Tamiya F104 Pro" thread and if you can't find one then post you question in this thread instead of creating another...

thanks man i just found that thread is like 200 pages and we should devote a forum to f104 itself i think

The thread he listed is the thread.

What kind of tires? Tamiya rules or open rules??

I think it is great idea to open new threads on different specific subject.

Either it will generate comment or fade away.

I have not run my F104 on carpet. I hear Horsham PA and at the recent TCS race in Conneticut were on carpet in the cold. Perhaps one of those guys will post some setup tips.

well thats what im trying to say nobody wants to read through 305 pages of one thread to see if what there looking for is there .....we should open up a whole category on the f104 then have different sub categories from there

yeah I hear ya! and for some reason on this thread they are not very forecoming with setup advice, etc. Unlike most other threads. Of course there are a few exception like Special K, and others are always willing to help.

So the next best is to use the search function on that thread as I've done on the link here for Carpet setup , hope this helps.

btw, I've only run asphalt on rubber so my advice might lead you astray, sry

Well there are a lot less adjustments on the F1 cars, which seems to be why many tune with tires, or even full chassis.
