Gets popcorn......
To be honest with you man, I would just do some research about the two instead of doing this thread. When these two buggies get mentioned in a thread all that happens is a war starts and most likely your question will not get answered truthfully. I will just leave it at that.

I'm glad someone else started this thread. I have wanted to many times but I didn't.
The JQ car looks fast. I haven't driven one but it does look good innthe track. I absolutely lovey durangos. I built an e buggy too and they fit my drive style perfectly. Plus all the alum stock parts the engine memory plate with the nice solid mount and all the crazy new tech and compact layout. If I didnt drive either one I like the way the Durango looks but JQ did something I have never seen done before, that is spend next nothing on advertising and yet create such a high demand for the JQ car such that anyone who's looking for a new car considers the JQ. It will be interesting to see what happens in a few weeks at the nitro challenge. I can't wait.

J just swapped to jq and I had the same thoughts and views about this car as you posted.when I drove mine this past weekend it amazed me. I got to get comfortable with the amount of steering it has but its a very fast buggy it reminds Me of my losi but with more steering and a lot more stable, this thing jumps awesome to

My cousin bought both the JQ and Durango.....tested both on the track extensively.....JQ is now sold. Durango was faster, more consistent, more stable and diffs were easy to work on. Problem with the Durango is the stock setups posted are a little weird.....actually....they just plain suck, so you will have to take time to dial one in. The JQ stock setup was already dialed. Take for what its worth....

There have been a few of these threads already or durango vs. serpent threads. The underlying theme is the Durango is always included in these types of threads. That alone should tell you something. I purchased a Durango and would recommend it to anybody. But my advice, and i know it sucks, would be to read every page of the JQ/Durango threads and the decide after that.

answer is easy
buy "the car" buy "durango"
get a plane ticket to missouri.
knock on the door of jared tebo, let him mess around with both cars.
ask his opinion about both cars.
but of course u can't go around and tell people that u let tebo run the car and durango, as he is under contract to run only kyosho.
if there is a buggy god, it's non other than tebo, just ask cody king how much tebo knows about buggy cars.
