Ya man, u arent kidding. I'll save for the jr servos and try to figure out the size of the reciever battery that i can fit. thanks for the help guys....What reciever batteries are u guys running?

Yes and No Frankie, You know me and my Small 900 Rx packs. Those dont get any cheaper and are Just as good as a Losi or Protec but at a Fraction of the price and size.

I would honestly do a little more research on JR servo's and their potential issues. They aren't all there cracked up to be.

These are what ive ran for the past 2+ year's with only 1 going "bad". 1 cell wouldn't hold voltage for very long and for the price, You can use your imagination of what i did with it.

Ok, so now my question is...if u are running a lipo for your reciever battery, do u need to have a low voltage cut off on it as well? I really dont feel like blowing up my freaking $1500+ truck

And what about this battery? do u think it will fit in the battery box of the 8ight truggy?

Turnigy is the only brand i use when i race my electric truck so i know the brand is great...now what about the size?

I went the Jr hv route when they were new and what a waste of $$$ I bought 4 of them to use in 2 cars and 3 races later one was toast. Then Jr told me that I had damaged it by running too much current through it. WTF? I would steer clear of Jr junk.

Ya, that's what everybody has been telling me. i think i'll save for the savox servos than. Hopefully when my tax return comes in i'll be able to order a couple of them. Cause i think i wanna go with the lipo receiver battery route too...which i have a million questions about as well...a lot has changed since i have been in the united states...it's only been like 7 months!

so if u run this battery, do u need a lipo cut off on it too so u dont screw it up? What do u guys use for a lipo alarm or cut off? And that listing says 4x...does that mean it's 4 of those batteries for that $17? that's crazy if that's what it is. How much run time do you get from this battery?

I have the HITEC 7450's. I run the Losi Lipo 2000mAh. I don't have a cutoff, probably should, but after a day of racing I end up putting ~700mAh back in. I also have the R604FS Futaba receiver and to the best of my knowledge, it does not have an install cut off.

I recommend the Losi lipo b/c 2000mAh is a lot of juice. I modified the batt box a tiny bit to have the balance wire coming out of the back.

Do u mind taking a picture of how u modified your box? Do u have to modify the box or does that losi lipo battery fit just fine normally if u arent concerned with the ballance wire sticking out? So if i get this battery than i shouldnt be worried about burning it up if i just charge it after each race day right?

Lipo cut off isn't generally required on a Receiver battery, A regulator is somethign that's more common as quite a few radio's are only rated up to 6V, Your 4pk included. Most guys know a general time frame of how long their packs will last through out the day. I know for a Fact my 900's will do a 45min main with ease and if pushed could probably pull off an hour main pending the length of warm up and what not.

Yes you get 4 batteries for 17$. thats not the reason i run them however. They are 1/2 the weight of a losi 2000 and are a lot easier to fit with the flat top and not distorting wires to make it fit.

Do you have to change the plug on these little 900packs or will they plug in to the standard JR style plug? They look like a different plug. I need a small pack for my D8 and would consider this one.
