Default Moving to LIPO

Apologies if this has been discussed before. We are moving to LIPOs. Anything I need to be wary of in terms of settings for the the VFS-1 C2? And does the VFS-1 C2 have the capabilituy to recognise the LIPO has discharged itself to the minimum voltage (of fthe top of my head 6.0v), or do I need to buy one of those voltage checking circuit boards that does this?

The VFS-1 series does have a voltage cut but only to 4.0V which is not high enough for Li-Pos. If you are going to use this type of battery, I would highly recommend using some type of cut-off or checking the voltage.

Default VFS-1 help.

Hello I have a message for Heibiki or KO STAFF,cuz you seems to know your gear...
I have the Twister 2,1 which is the VFS-1 pro? Or Pro Comp?

And I checked the settings on the KO site for touring 27T.
The setting start like
#1= 2
# 2= 3
#3=3
what I mean is the values are very low. I will give you my freq's and you will understand why I ask. I do not want to burn up my speedo. I have heard too low a number very fast but high risk of burning out. I have also heard no more than one value at a time. If I wanted to use the given throttle profile on the KO site it is a difference of more than 30 values!!! Am I reading wrong? I thought maybe it is 2 is 20 or 3 30 but when it gets to 6 it can't be 60? I hope you know what I mean. I just want to know what is the maximum from my profile I have given that I can change. All the profiles I have read are under ten for each value. as you can see mine are over 25.

Also which default should I use from the site? VFS-1 ,VFS-1 Pro etc.

My Throttle profile is as follows when I got it.

All Sellect= 35
#1 = 37
#2 =37
#3=37
#4 =35
#5=33
#6=31
#7=28
#8=28

Thanks for the help. Merry Christmas!!

The only difference in the hardware is the case. VFS-1 Pro has a black case, VFS-1 PRO C2 has the carbon looking case.

The software difference is the amplifier tuning and the Throttle response has changed in the software setting from Punch (VFS-1 Pro) to drag brake setting (VFS-1 Pro C2).

Looks like the profile you started to post above is for a Modified motor. most of the profiles on the Ko Propo site that start so low are for 19T and 27T motors. They will not work for mod.

Meaning if I put in the VFS-1 Pro C2 settings to a VFS-1 Pro, basically both are the same stuff except for the case color right? Cool. Thanks.

Same but the VFS-1 C2 will have more punch from neutral.

The VFS-2 has less FETs inside the esc to bring the cost down.

Thanks for getting back to me. The profile I started with the 30's I have been using for stock 27T. It is running fine, Can I use the lower numbers without burning up my motor or ESC? like 1, 2 , 3 etc. etc.?
What all select # should I start with when using the stock technical profile off the KO site?

yes.. lowering your profile will not burn up your ESC unless something gets jammed in your motor and you try to keep running or something odd like that.

i usually start the first two stages at the same number then lower it from there so i dont get any initial wheel spin. wherever you start, you should be fine. just adjust according to traction conditions at your track. (more traction = lower starting freq.)
