The NEO's aren't discontinued. They are being sold under Megatech shops. Pretty much the ones in Manhatten, NY and New Jersey have them. Few other places also sell NEO's. That price was originally $400+ before they put it on sale, and did they sell like hot cakes. They could pretty much take few HPI and mostly Serpent parts (the older cars). Really good cars in the hand of a good driver.

NEO is still pretty big here on the east coast. Inexpensive cars, but offer great performance.

Back to the topic... I recently got to handle/fondle the XR8 at the Chicago show. WOW! I am impressed. Anyone want an Evolva?

I believe this kit is going to be available soon in Taiwan. I just saw the final sample few days ago. But I don't know what price it will be.

There are many people play 1/8 here. But 1/10 still more popular.

Yeah, 1/8 on-road is gaining popularity I think because of the availablility of suitable tracks here. 1/8 off-road has always been popular I believe. I myself have just came back to Taiwan recently. Have yet to visit Silverstone, work and girlfriend keeps me away from r/c.

I was able to handle the car at the Chicago Hobby Expo last week. The car is very balanced when fully equipped. They said the going price will be about $390.00 US.
