I have used this on my servos.

Put a screw in the servo(where the horn goes), dip entire servo in the stuff and an inch up the wires(where it connects to the servo case(you may have to do it 2-3 times for desired thickness), let dry, get a sharp knife and cut around the servo spline and take the screw out, peel off the plasti-dip off of the servo spline.
After that you can put some grease around the spline with a small O-ring and put the servo horn on.

When I am at the races and it rains I will put a balloon around my reviver. most of the servos can handle small amounts of water, but it wouldn't hurt to put some grease around the out put shaft of the servo to help repel the water. Other than that as soon as your are done running disassemble your car and dry and clean it off.

i used flowable silicone on my RX for my car i use in the winter... worked well.. and i think i could peel it off if needed

i just coated the top and bottom of the board then put it back in its case.
