It's a very good entry level radio. It's even good for racing.

It's a very nice and good radio. I'll claim, that most people dont need anymore than this.

Remember to do the grip test

If you're going to be racing, get the new synthesized MX-3, never have to worry about crystals.

Great radio, all the features you'll ever need for electric racing on or off road.

Let me throw out this one warning. It's signal may not be as strong as other radios. Be sure not to get on the stand with your Cell phone in your pocket. When the phone reconnects with the network (as they do every few minutes) it puts out a lot of noise on FM and my MX-3 will take a hit for 1/2 a second. Other radios I've had didn't do that (KO Propo), but it's good practice to keep modern cell phones away from the drivers stand anyway. Again, it's a great radio for the money. Check eBay for prices (bought my two brand new for $99.95 a piece with receivers and Aitronics' "standard" servos.)

I always carry around a cellphone while racing and never had problems. I use the mx3 for racing and it has everything I need. I am actually one of the few that rarely glitch at my track.

Ha....I'm like the only guy in atleast a 10 mile radius who doesn't have a cell phone.

I'd say the MX-3 is a good radio for the money but I personally don't like how it feels. If your looking for something in that price range look at an XR3 too. I like the JR Series of radios
