Default ae tc4

hi guys,

im really interested in buying a tc4 with a lot of parts from a guy on here.im just going to be doing some basic stock class racing and was wondering whether you guys would approve or disapprove of the tc4 for this racing...?

im really unfamiliar with shaft drives on onroad...

If its a good deal then go for it.
The TC4 won't hold you back in stock class and getting to know onroad.

Later, with higher power and faster speeds, a newer car would be recommended. And you could even get a great car for that here cheaply too.

I started out with the TC4. Great car, it's near bulletproof and parts are cheap and plentiful. Also a vary easy car to work on.

I second what the other guy's said and wanted to add that there's some alternatives to making the TC4 even better. Check out Diggity Designs and Irrgang Racing for a complete chassis makeover.
Shaft drive is good but like anything else it's all about the effort you put into it. Good bearings and keeping things clean go a long way to making it run smooth. One thing to remember when you start setting up throttle profiles or "punch" settings is "torque steer". It's common to all shaft drive cars. No big deal but bad esc and diff settings can make it seem MUCH worse.
