one of the reasons is it much harder to find sponsors and without them it is not possible to make an event the DHI-CUP
But I am sure this year race will be great and I am sure Yokomo with Völker will be in top 3 and the Xray and Associated teams is very hungry for a victory..

good morning here from the DHI Cup.. it was a long day yesterday with 13 hours of racing.. today is qualifying day, where we start with round 2. Top runners in Super Stock was Stefan Leinburger from Germany wih Martin Lissau/Denmark in second position with Tony Streit right behind him.
In Modified is Yokomo driver Ronald Völker is fastest and Tamiya driver Steen Graversen in second and very close behind him former DHI champion Juho Levanen in third.
I will go from the pit to catch some photos of the frontrunners chassis´
stay tuned..

It kind of sounds like Tamiya might be focusing on getting the TRF guys up to speed in 2wd off-road to prepare for Worlds. Perhaps they're going to reduce their attendance at on-road races as a result? That seems like it would be an odd move considering they just released the 417. Who knows.

The DHI race is not so big and important as it used to be, only 60 drivers in Modified. This is a shame as this race used to be the greatest with all the top drivers attending.

It is great that the ETS has taken off so much but it is such a shame that it is affecting all the other smaller european races
i wonder if Team Tamiya will be at the LRP masters ??

Hi!
All the Rheinards are on an 50. Birthday at her Family so they can't drive at the DHI-Cup.
Elliot have School so he can't drive at the DHI-Cup, too.

First round of finals are done.
The B-finals have a new bump-up feature, where the winnner and runner up bump in to the A final as posision 10 and 11, also the A mains are now 6 min races, that makes it more exiting with the driving and material on the edge!
First round of super stock, went to Martin Lissau with his Associated TC, with Steffen Leinburger on second, and Carsten Madsen in third.
Modified saw Ronald Völker dominate the 6 min race from start to finish, with Christer Andersson second and Alexander Hagberg in third.
All a main finals can be seen later on racerc.dk
