I bought the JR racing xs3 Pro, it has a little bit more features and has a nylon strap and silver color. I bought it for $200, the JR racing xs3 standard version was $200 too. It took me half a day to get it installed on the car and program it, now the car will drive right.

Data, Marvin and me were at crystal on sunday, we tuned the motor a little bit but the best we got was 180 degrees, it won't go more up. Plus with my new radio I will get better throttle response and steering. The car drives good, Marvin tweked the front a little and it steered like I wanted. I did give problems to the 1/8 scales guys, I wouldn't let them lap me, but at the end we had a good laugh

seems pretty low for a new engine, but if it run great then i guess it is ok (i have to see it to beleive it).

i will give you a new alfa 2.0 body, but you have to paint it yourself.

c888, congrats on the controller!

But I think Data is right ...
seems pretty low for a new engine
I have the Rody V12 and it runs strongest at about 290. But I race it around 260-270 in 78-90 degree dry/partly humid weather.

Try someone elses temp gun. My buddies was almost 25 degrees off from my temp gun. And mine was only 5-8 degrees off from 2 other guys.

And remember to check the carb setting from RB's website. Most motors main-needle are 2-1/2 turns open, while RB's .12 is open at 5 turns from close.

actually like 3 different people checked my engine with the temp gauge. Right now i'm running about 3.5 turns out, it's lean on the high speed needle but the temps stay low. I discussed with AH10 if 3.5 is too much he said not really because the motor is running cool. The low speed needle is running about right, I can keep up to everyone on the straight and the turns as long as I don't jam the throttle.

I still can't believe I was dead even with a 1/8 scale on the straight, it was so sweet

Thanks Data, i'll see you on saturday

P.S. kid dynomite, check your PM's

and bring a table too. you don't want to have any permanent damage to your back while working on your car.

I think he was just a little excited for his new motor. If the V12 is as fast as the .21's then mine must be faster than a .21 cause I passed him on the straight.

I don't have a rody version of the V12, i just have a standard version of the motor. Mckrooz passes me all the time because i'm still learning how to drive. When I was dead even with the 1/8 scale I wasn't thinking that i would have to brake soon, the 1/8 scale turned after the straight and I crashed severly, because i was going too fast.

In the parking lot the 1/8 scale would beat me like nothing because it can get more speed, but on the track due to corners you can't push it all the way.

"frank" is the name of his motor, it's just abreviated.
