Hey Ritchie... shut up.... maybe you should turn at least 1 lap at the track before you make any more comments.... ask the boys about 17.5 Nt from last year super fun close racing...... besides you made sure to tell us all it's not worth the 4hr round trip for ya.....

just stay up north and the atmosphere will remain pleasant

Sorry guys just have had my fill of Ritchie and his comments on a place he has never been to.

Dude, really, just having some fun. Or at least I thought. And yea I made comments about not wanting to build car that I would only be able to run at TZ, which would be a 4 be round trip. The above comments and that one are only ones I've made about tz1. I apologize for my rudeness. I'll climb back in snap-on now.

Wow guys...REALLY?!! Is it THAT serious??? RCTech does have an 'ignore' feature. The venomous undertones/outright dislike between our local racers is getting (has gotten really) ridiculous....good thing I work alot

I enjoyed shaking yours and Ricks hand after carpet nats and saying good job and thanks, I meant it. Kyle was having fun with the tear up the carpet thing, comments about the weather and atmosphere were also included. For some reason I thought we were all having fun. I understand now having applied for paved nats why my comment about 17.5 and 21.5 might have came out as negatives against TZ1. Once again I apologize for my comments that came across the wrong way. (you'll never get that from cherry).

Btw I talked with your locals. The said glad to finally meet you, and good to race with you.

when searching out batteries there seems to an extreme price variance. anywhere from 249.00 down to 54.00 for a 4s pack. anyone tried the trunigy batteries, any issues. I know the 2s work fine.

power systems, speedpassion, Trunigy , and hobby king all have esc/motor combos for under 200 bucks, any real reason to spend 300 for a package.

servos, I have a XP 1313 with 173oz of tq, is that enough to get one of these beasts to turn.

any additional help would be appreciated on things i haven't thought of,

btw, hows got a paint booth so i can paint the body safely

Proto type parts already in developement, and we have had insane sucsess with the RX8 speedo and 15151y Nue Motor or Redline motor on 5S Batts...... will 10 minute run time this summer with our new setup

Seems like if you are going to be running on road you would start with an on road car.... much better end results and tires are under $30 and handling that will blow your mind...

Just a thought

And then what, have to drive 4 hours round trip if I wanna run it.

Were not trying to build radio controlled F1's. Just some inexpensive bashers to kick around in a parking lot with. And maybe run at one of the local tracks.
