Hey, all. Just wanted to thank everyone for a great night of racing last night. Madison and I had lots of fun. There is one thing I was wondering about. Why the "non-traditional" race format? I've been racing for several years and most local clubs I've been to run 3 qualifying heats and one main event for each class. I'm not complaining, but just wondering why the "moto" style format is used. I really don't care either way. Just curious how it came to be. I'm guessing it's becuase of Cecil's background in racing dirt bikes but I'm not sure so I thought I'd ask. Thanks again and we hope to be back at the track soon!!!

Hey, guys. I went over tonight and the track was closed....second Friday in a row. Did the schedule change or something else happen? I looked on this forum and Face Book before I left and didn't see any announcements so I thought the track would be open. I also planned on going next Friday so I want to be sure the track is still having practice on Fridays before I head over next week. Thanks!!

justwanted to make sure the track is open this wed. if so, what time?

I looked on the facebook page, and it only mentions points races starting back up again next weekend, the 8th. Nothing about tomorrow. I haven't gotten to go to the track for about a month, so I am kind of out of the loop.

Just wanted to post an update here. Racing is still going on Sundays. Doors at noon, racing at two. There were 18 or 19 2wd SCT last weekend, and alot of new faces. I believe a track update is coming too, along with new possible layout.

Racing Sunday, 1/15 with doors opening at noon. Racing to begin about 2:00. Good turnout last weekend. Hope to see more of the same. See you there!

I personally like the jconcepts Barcodes or Proline Suberbs or similar tire. If the dust builds up these can get pretty slick, though. People have had good luck with Goosebumps, too. I've seen guys running AKA Gridirons and the Losi Eclipse and have luck with those. As always, a lot of it has to do with preference and driving style, but this might give you something to go on.
