need help (loose reciever)
my recivever is very loose and i was wondering what material i should use to glue it down...cylicone?

I use servo tape. MIP makes a really sticky servo tape. Just be sure to clean both surfaces really good before applying.

or shoe goo, household goop, and silicone will all work fine

servo tape...... dude, that is what it is for.... just make sure you clean the reciever and the surface really well before you tape it down

I'd use velcro. The extra padding will help save your electronic equipment.

Aaron, I cracked my chassis on my XXXT a while ago.. so I need to move all the electronics. I have a few velcro strips from a free give-out of them at WalMart ! I heard of using velcro before, but it won't come off? Plus, say, you want to change wires on your ESC. Velcro would make it so much easier.
...any ideas?

I'm not dissing your idea Matt, but I think that it is strong enough to work. I would actually like some ideas from people that have tried this.
Also, there are two types of Velcro out there. Removable Adhesive and Stick Back. The sticky back.. has... a sticky back. Very strong.
Again... has anyone tried this?
PS: It's not like I'm cheap or I'm trying to get it done in a pinch, but since you have not tried it........thanks for your opinion.

Velcro ??? Been there, done that. I only use servo tape now for the precise reason Matt gave, Velcro doesn't hold up in time. The adhesive isn't very strong and will peel away.
I use double layer servo tape for nitro (vibration padding) and single layer in electrics. Use a hair dryer to warm the servo tape and that makes it easier to remove without harming the Rx.

Velcro under, zip tie over, doesn't go anywhere and remains removable without nealy breaking the reciever case trying to take it out.
