I have used the both the standard and offset motor mounts on my outdoor RDX. What I find is that the offset mount is good for when you have to bring the car up to the ROAR minimum weight for racing in the big races (i.e. Regionals and Nationals). If your local track doesn't require ROAR minimum weight, the RDX is more closely balanced side-to-side with the standard motor mount.

I assume your using the right "cam and ballraces" ? sorry can't remember if it's possible to build up a one way unit using the set for a diff ?

Otherwise is it the one way unit thats moving or the outdrives as i is normal to have movement in the outdrives

After those i'd be checking that the bulkheads are mounted correctly ??

Dunno if those couple of ideas help at all ??

Mine does that so I wouldn't worry about it.

Has Corally considered either printing the weights on the springs or doing different color springs to help with this issue?

Is use white/black sharpie and put marks on the springs to help me remember the weights if they were to ever get mixed up. Split the marks into tens and ones...if the spring is 19 pounds, put a single mark on one of the turns and then under it put 9 little marks.

I just keep mine in the boxes and be sure to only have the ones im using out of the box.

place one on top of the other and squeeeze them the first one to compress is the lightest of the two. continue until you have them in order. That is what I do.

Oh yeah then you can mark them.
